U.V. (ultraviolet) light treatment systems require annual bulb replacement and inspection/ replacement of the quartz sleeve.
Failure to replace the bulb will result in a burn out and zero disinfection. Failure to inspect/ replace quartz sleeve will result in clouding, causing improper light exposure and inadequate disinfection.
